ON THE BOARDS: Our Alternative Theater Festival will hopefully be a premier outing for all local audiences and artists for years to come, but we need some help to make that happen.
We have opened a KICKSTARTER account, a fundraising campaign in an effort to help alleviate costs to coordinate this festival featuring eight local theatre companies, 4 singers, comics, mimes and everything representing stage here.
KICKSTARTER is the largest fundraising website in the United States and everything is being projected from theatres to science projects, to just getting funding to buy a car.

Our goal is $1000. There you can see the different levels in order to donate and the rewards you may receive.
You can donate as less than a $1 or up to $200, or more. Anything that you can give to help support local performance programming is appreciate.
The kick here is you have to open 2 accounts in order to donate: one is a Kickstarter account and then to attach to your credit card, an Amazon account.
Also, the good thing is that when you give your information, the money is not debited until the goal is reached. So if the goal is not reached (hoping for the latter), nothing happens. You get nothing, you lose nothing.
We do hope we reach our goal, cuz things are not cheap....
